In 2010…
God’s strong call to keep faith-based education “in the neighborhood” launched a new Christian elementary school-AnchorPoint Christian School
An area pastor reflected at the time that basic information is provided to students at about any school in the Wyoming community. But, he noted, to provide an affordable Christian education opportunity for every community child is the passion that inspired dedicated families and teachers to establish AnchorPoint.
For 13 years, supporters have joined our caring God, dedicated teachers and staff, and parents in bringing Christian education to Wyoming. But next school year will bring many changes. In January of 2023, AnchorPoint Christian School launched Anchored & Secure, a capital campaign to purchase and improve our current school building.
OUR PLAN
Building Acquisition
West Michigan Lutheran has decided to sell the current school building located at 601 36th Street SW in Wyoming, MI where AnchorPoint currently leases space.
Repairs and Improvements
Fortunately, a new roof was completed in October of 2022. We now need repairs and improvements to other areas including: HVAC, electrical, carpeting, exterior walls, etc. Contact us, if you’d like the full list.
Purchasing and improving the building will allow us to continue to remain anchored in the City of Wyoming where students can receive an affordable Christ-centered education. This opens many possibilities for our school and our future.

The total plan is projected to cost $3 million
OUR TIMELINE
AnchorPoint has purchased the building! Documents were signed Friday, October 20. A group of Godly people who are invested in Christian education stepped forth to purchase the building and will allow us to use the funds from our capital campaign to buy the building on a land contract, spreading out our payments over many years. We need an estimated additional $2.75 million by December 2026 for the purchase, much needed repairs and improvements.
