O LORD, you have searched me and you know me.

You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

VISION CHECKUP REPORT

What did we see? This past Saturday morning, 21 people brought their reality glasses and imagination binoculars to AnchorPoint's Vision Checkup. Family members, staff, board, and other supporters saw God's real miracle of our school's 2-year presence in the heart of Wyoming. After learning some Wyoming community dynamics, they used their imaginations to look forward through the coming years to 2017. How can AnchorPoint Christian School carry out its mission for 2 miles in each direction, where 46,000 people--6,000 of them children ages 10 and under--reside?

Takeaways:  important pieces of information to remember from a meeting
 
AnchorPoint's principal, Lael Mulder, attended an intensive Principal Development Institute in Miami provided to selected administrators at no cost by Christian Schools International. Here are 10 takeaways to share from that 3-day meeting of 16 principals from the US and Canada.
 
  1.  Networking with other administrators is helpful.
  2.  A principal is a servant leader.
  3.  Balance within the job is essential to maintain.

State Senator Mark Jansen Gives Surprise Birthday Greetings

“Happy Birthday! You are one year old today!” With this greeting, State Senator Mark Jansen surprised students of AnchorPoint Christian School at their September 6 chapel on the first school day of 2011-2012.
 
Recalling the launching of AnchorPoint just a year ago, Jansen thanked all who supported the new Christian school then and now. Currently, there are 101 students in Preschool-Grade 6, a growth of 21 from last year’s end count.
